Eric J. Salemi

Eric Salemi is retired Police Commander from a Nationally Accredited (CALEA) Police Department in Central Virginia. He served in Law Enforcement for over 28 years and is a U.S. Army Veteran. Eric has a Master’s in Public Administration with concentrations in Government and Business and is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute 58th session of CODC. He has extensive experience in Accreditation, Budgeting, and Planning (incident, projects, and strategic) Crisis Management/Mitigation and various law enforcement specialties. Some of his professional assignments include: Accreditation Consultant, Patrol Supervisor/Manager, Criminal Investigations (Investigator and Commander), SWAT Operator and Leader/Commander, Public Safety Answering Point (Emergency Communications) Manager, Support Operations Commander, and Trainer/Instructor.

Eric is a published author in law enforcement subject matter and enjoys spending time with his family, reading and writing, working out, and being out doors.
