Henry County - Active Transportation Plan Complete!

Henry County’s Active Transportation Plan reflects a collaborative effort among local government officials, community organizations, and regional stakeholders to enhance connectivity, prioritize safety, and support Economic Development and Quality of Life for residents.  The Plan addresses the growing need for safe and efficient bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure in Henry County.

The Plan was made possible through USDOT’s Thriving Communities Program funding which enables communities to advance a pipeline of transformative infrastructure projects that will increase mobility, reduce pollution, and expand affordable transportation options, connecting communities to the essential opportunities and resources that will help them thrive.
