Catherine Redfearn

Catherine joined the Berkley Group in March of 2018 with over 15 years of Virginia and national planning and historic preservation experience. She has worked on a variety of projects - comprehensive plans, preservation plans, historic district design guidelines, and small area plans, just to name a few – with the overarching interest of helping communities build plans based on their unique character, history, and assets.

Catherine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural History and a Master’s degree in Urban and Environmental Planning, with a concentration in Historic Preservation, from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining the Berkley Group, she was the Principal of Partners for Place, a consulting firm specializing in community preservation and urban design.
