Chase Chandler

Public Finance Consultant

Chase Chandler brings more than 16 years of accounting and finance experience to his work with local governments and public agencies. His background includes five years of governmental finance experience at both the state and local levels, giving him a deep understanding of public-sector financial management, budgeting, compliance, and operational accountability.


Before joining Berkley Group, Chase served as Finance Director for the Frontier Culture Museum, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening the organization’s financial foundation. In this role, he oversaw both operating and capital budgets, modernized legacy financial processes, and implemented best practices that significantly improved efficiency and transparency. He also established comprehensive fiscal policies, internal controls, and risk management procedures that enhanced long-term sustainability and supported the museum’s mission-driven work.


Earlier in his career, Chase spent seven years in public accounting and later served as Controller for a multi-million dollar software-as-a-service company. These experiences broadened his perspective and sharpened his expertise in complex financial operations, strategic reporting, and process improvement across diverse environments.


Chase’s professional strengths include governmental accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, risk management, and process optimization. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, with a minor in Computer Information Systems, from James Madison University.


Chase lives in Fishersville, Virginia with his wife, their two sons, Charlie and Ollie, their dog Gemma, and their cat Merlin. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, gardening, building with LEGO® bricks, and keeping up with his energetic boys.
