David Shifflett

David Shifflett is a strategic technology leader with over 20 years of experience advancing enterprise systems and digital modernization. Most recently, he served as the Information Systems Administrator for Fauquier County, where he led cross-departmental efforts for Tyler Enterprise ERP modernization and system governance. Prior to that, Dave spent several years with Albemarle County as the Assistant Director of Administration for Community Development and the Chief of ERP Systems, where he directed major technology transformations and fiscal operations.

Throughout his career, Dave has specialized in bridging the gap between technical innovation and operational priorities to improve efficiency and service delivery. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from Radford University and is a graduate of the LEAD program at the University of Virginia’s Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service.

Dave resides in Albemarle County with his wife, three daughters, two dogs, and two cats.
