Peter M. Huber

Pete brings nearly 40 years of local government experience to the Berkley Group, having most recently served as County Administrator for Pulaski County from November 2000 until his retirement in January 2017. He served as an Assistant County Administrator for Pulaski from January 1986 until his appointment to County Administrator. Prior to his time in Pulaski, Pete was the Town Manager for the Town of Saltville (March 1984 to December 1985), Planner and then Planning Director for Parkersburg, WV (February 1982 to March 1984), and Cartographer/Planner for the Mount Rogers Planning District Commission (October 1979 to January 1982).

Pete holds a Bachelor of Arts from Emory & Henry College in Land Use Analysis and Planning, and a Master of Arts in Teaching in Geography from Appalachian State University. He completed the Senior Executive Institute at the University of Virginia, and is an International City County Management Association Credentialed Manager.
