Strategic Plan 2025-2030

Berkley Group helped guide the process of updating Lunenburg County Schools’ division-wide comprehensive strategic plan. The primary objective of this initiative was to gather meaningful input from stakeholders—students, parents, educators, and leadership—to identify the school  system’s strengths and identify opportunities for growth. The process began with initial meetings between Berkley Group and both the School Board and executive leadership team to establish a shared vision and project roadmap.

To ensure the plan reflected diverse perspectives, Berkley Group conducted targeted focus groups with students and parents, gathering feedback on the district’s performance and areas for improvement. During the fall 2024 semester, a Stakeholder Strategic Planning Design Team was formed, and Berkley Group facilitated three collaborative sessions with this team to review the existing strategic plan and craft thoughtful recommendations. The project concluded with a final School Board work session to present the draft plan and incorporate board input.

The outcome of this inclusive and structured process is a revitalized strategic plan rooted in community voice and aligned with the division’s long-term goals. The plan provides a clear framework for guiding the school system’s priorities and actions in the years ahead.

Implementation Plan Highlights:

• 3-year rollout including needs assessment, goal-based action teams, and baseline KPI development

• Robust key performance indicators (KPIs) integrated for each goal

• Ongoing evaluation, reporting, and continuous improvement structure established

We are presently working to support Lunenburg Public Schools with strategic plan implementation support and executive coaching for the 2025-26 school year.
