Marketing Brochure

The Southside Planning District Commission (SPDC) is the South Central area’s official regional planning and development agency.  For over fifty years, the SPDC has worked to advance the prosperity in Brunswick, Halifax, and Mecklenburg County and the towns within. The PDC leads cohesive regional efforts in economic development, infrastructure improvement, water resource and transportation planning, hazard mitigation, housing, and community development.

To promote the business and recreational opportunities in the region, the Berkley Group developed an economic development marketing brochure. The brochure builds on the recently updated Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy, which Berkley Group also supported.

The brochure highlights all the benefits and amenities the region has to offer with a focus on transportation infrastructure, low cost of living, high quality of life and recreation. The final brochure is a highly visual and modern document with graphics and photos highlighting the regions education and recreational opportunities. The content is colorful and conversational as it leads the viewer through the landscape and amenities of the region, encouraging them to make their move to Southside.

The brochure was completed in July 2021.
