We are excited to develop a Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (“HIRA”) for the Commonwealth Regional Council. On January 18, 2022, we kicked off the project with CRC staff. This work involves coordination with local stakeholders and VDEM staff to update information regarding hazards impacting District localities, analyzing the degree to which hazards impact localities, and assessing community risk and vulnerability to hazards. Project completion is scheduled for March 2022.
