Town of Strasburg Unified Development Ordinance Public Engagement and Recommendations

Recently, we conducted a community engagement and visioning process for the Town of Strasburg's Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) update.

Through public and stakeholder engagement, we helped the Town accomplish several goals, including identifying barriers to industrial development within the existing UDO industrial regulations, priorities for industrial compatibility, and learning the preferences of residents regarding uses such as accessory dwelling units, tiny homes, and short-term rentals.  Berkely Group then synthesized this feedback, informed by analysis and best practices, into a report with recommendations the Town of Strasburg can incorporate into their UDO update.
